Wayne A. "Jim" Wagner was born on December 14th, 1941 to George and Florence Wagner in Denver, CO. He passed away suddenly on October 31st, 2017. He was 75 years old. Jim married his wife Kathleen on August 1st, 1964. They had known each other since grade school and started dating when he was 20 and Kathleen was 18. They adopted both of their children, James in 1968 and Jean in 1969. Jim was a character who loved people. He would talk to anyone that would listen. He loved to collect die cast and model airplanes and buses. He loved animals, all kinds and was always trying to find a way to get more. He also loved Christmas, he always made it so special. Jim leaves behind his wife Kathleen of Des Moines; his son James (Eva) of Spanaway; his daughter Jean (Keith) of Bonney Lake; his brother George (Mary) of Sea-Tac; his Granddaughters Nicole (Michael) and Amy (Jeff); his Grandson Mitchell; his Great Grandchildren Carsen, Chloe and Audrey; and numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 8th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philomena Catholic Church at 1790 South 222nd St, Des Moines, WA 98198. Graveside service to follow will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery at 2020 Mountain View Drive, Auburn, WA 98001. A Celebration luncheon will be held at the home of Nicole Wagner immediately following the Graveside service.
