It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Cook. She was born March 5th 1941 to Kenneth and Margie Gilmore. She passed away peacefully on March 21st 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Carlos. She leaves behind her daughters, DeAnne Erb (Levi) and Melanie Galvan. She had 7 grandchildren, Brian Graham (Jerah), Trisha Armstrong (Brent), Casey Erb (Jennifer),Reana Erb,Jay Galvan (Adrienne), Steve Hedstrom, and RJ Strong. She also had 13 great grandchildren. Margaret had spent the last 5 years with the second love of her life, Stephen Johnson.She is also survived by her 2 sisters,Marion Craig and Marie Harper Gardner (Bruce), as well as many special nieces, nephews and cousins.Margaret was retired from Tacoma school district where she worked in administration. Margaret loved to garden, cook, travel and spend time with family and friends. We will be celebrating her wonderful life on Saturday June 15th @ 2:00pm at First Christian Church 602 North Orchard St. Tacoma 98406.
