June 16th, 1939 - November 23rd, 2018
Jack D. Nelson passed away peacefully, surrounded by all those who loved him deeply, on the 23rd of November, 2018 in Puyallup, WA. He was born June 16, 1939 in Portland, OR to Dorothy and Fred Nelson. He was a longtime resident of Renton, WA, and spent much of his career in the auto industry from which he retired. Building and fixing Hot Rods were his passion. Jack also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed! Jack is survived by his five children: Michal Nelson, Melanee Nelson, Mark Nelson, Matt Nelson and Shawnna Nelson-Hoff, along with their respective spouses, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Nelson is also survived by one brother, Fred Nelson. Please join us for a “Celebration of Life” luncheon to share stories and remember a life lived to the fullest.
