Gordon Martin Baerny passed away at his home in Brush Prairie on September 5, 2012, due to complications from diabetes. Born in Tacoma, WA, November 25, 1958. He is survived by his wife Janelle, daughter Jennifer, son Josef, step daughters Bobbi Jo Blacksmith and Randee Lewis, grandson Elis Lewis, father and mother Lee and Ann Baerny, brother Mick (Connie), sister Linda Sauceda (Reg) Patricia Roberts (Jim) and Janice Breyer (Bill). Mass at 11:00 AM Friday, September 14, 2012 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 25810 156th Ave SE, Covington. Viewing one hour prior to Mass. Reception following Mass at the church social hall. Burial will take place at the Sumner City Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Gordon’s name to Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, 9480 N. DeMazenod Dr., Belleville, IL 62223-1160 or the Tacoma Swiss Society Scholarship Fund.
