David Michael Prenovost was born March 7, 1951, in Auburn, WA and died March 9, 2019, in Tacoma, WA. David was born to Elaine (Rickard) and George Prenovost Jr., the fourth of eight children. He spent his childhood in Auburn, WA and graduated from Auburn High School in 1969. He married Judy Prenovost and raised two children in Enumclaw. He then married Jennifer Prenovost/C in February 2013. They spent their married life in Tacoma, WA. He was a dedicated, hard worker who was always willing to help others, especially his family. He loved taking pictures, video recordings, discussing politics, playing the guitar, dancing, and reading. David also worked at Green River Community College for 33 years. David will be missed by many, especially by his wife Jennifer Prenovost/C, and daughter Michelle Nelson and her husband Kyle Nelson, grandchild Samantha Nelson (1), and son Joseph (Joe) Prenovost and step-son Daniel Carruthers. He will also be missed by his siblings and their families, Jim Prenovost, Lee and Julie Prenovost, Liz and Dan Irwin, Neal Prenovost, Elaine and Doug Small, and Mary and Chris Roe, and by many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents George and Elaine (Rickard) Prenovost Jr., his brother George Prenovost III, and niece Denise Prenovost. Vigil service Thursday March 28th, 7pm at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, March 29th at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 505 17th St. S.E. Auburn, WA with a reception following at Holy Family. Interment, Gethsemane Cemetery, Federal Way. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Green River College Foundation or UW Medical Center.
