Johan Oye, loving Father, Husband, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend died on Friday July 15, 2005 in University Place, WA. He was born on April 26, 1941 in Stavanger, Norway and was as resident of University Place for 32 years. A self employed Professional Structural Engineer for 15years. Member of the Tacoma Narrows Rotary Club and enjoyed hosting many international Rotary Exchange Students. Johan was very proud of grandson Gunner who was named after him. Survived by his wife Eileen Ann; two sons, Kristian and his wife Dana of Milton; Trygve and his wife Cara and their son Gunnar Johan of Mulkiteo; Sister, Ingrid Hermansen and her husband Thor, Norway; Step-son Chris Cichanski and his wife Kim and their children Jessica and Tyler of Snohomish; Step-daughter Carolyn Cichanski, Seattle; and his former wife Deborah Oye of Packwood. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11:00 AM July 20, 2005 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7112 So 12th St, Tacoma. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rotary International.
