Donald "Don" E. Burgess
Don passed away of a heart attack on May 21, 2013 in Lacey, Washington, at the age of 72. He was born February 16, 1941 in Pomeroy, Wisconsin to Larry and May Burgess. He graduated from North Thurston High School, served in the U.S. Navy, and worked at Washington State Labor and Industries. He was a 25-year resident of Lacey. Don was very good to all people. He loved his Mariners and Seahawks, and enjoyed going to Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill, NASCAR, remote control planes, hunting and fishing, playing pool, and HAM radio. He is survived by his Aunt Coral Burgess, Ronald Burgess, Laura Burgess, Nic Burgess, Gary Burgess, and Greg Burgess. He was preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Wally Burgess, and Randy Burgess.
