Richard William Allen
January 1st, 1944 - October 4th, 2017
Richard William “Dick” Allen was born in 1944 to John William and Nadine Allen in Boise, Idaho. He passed away October 4, 2017 at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington, at age 72. Dick graduated from Curtis High School in University Place, Washington, in 1962, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1966. He married Dale Violet Percey in 1967; she passed away in 1989. Dick was a Master Electrician, working in Alaska from the 70s to the early 90s, and then in the Puget Sound area until he was able to retire early and build his home in Tenino, Washington, where he lived for 12 years. Dick had a passion for knowledge since childhood. Some of his many hobbies included computers, electronics, and woodworking. He is survived by his son, John Allen and family; and sister, Michelle Allen. Please leave memories of Dick or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
