Meredith Vierra passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup on September 30, 2022 after a brief illness. She was born in San Jose California to Hugh Gordon and Lillian Joyce (Blackford) Findley on December 29, 1943. Meredith was really into quilting and scrapbooking. She had every imaginable item for both of these hobbies. She belonged to a scrapbooking club in California before she retired from being a Special Education teacher. When she moved here to Washington she joined a quilting club. She had so much fabric, you would swear she owned stock in the fabric store. She also loved sunflowers. We grew different sunflowers in our garden every year for her and we will continue to do so. She is survived by her daughter Monica, son-in-law, Ed; granddaughters, Loren and Corisa. She will be cremated per her wishes and there will be no services.
