Clara Mary Clark DesMoines passed away January 7, 2016 in Centralia, WA. She was born October 26, 1923 to Jesse W. and Myrtle S. (Purser) Clark in Baltimore, MD. A seven-year resident of Winlock, WA, Clara also lived in Baltimore, MD from 1923 to 2000. She married Lawrence A. DesMoines on March 14, 1943 in Baltimore. Clara was a member of Napavine Assembly of God in Napavine, WA; Boistfort Community Church, Curtis, WA; and Gospel Assembly Church, Brooklyn, MD. A loving mother and grandmother, Clara was a kind, loving and giving soul who will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by son, Ronald J. DesMoines of Baltimore; daughter, Gloria J. Koidahl (Donald) of Winlock, WA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Lawrence in September 1981; son, Edward A. DesMoines (Sallie) of Carlile, PA; and daughter, Irene D. Gibson (David) of Bryson City, NC. “…and she will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Please leave memories of Clara or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
