Benita Louise Margolis, 74, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at home surrounded by love, honor and respect. The day was warm, the sun was shining and the birds were singing outside her window. It was a beautiful day for her to let go. Benita was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Jean Rogers, and survived by her brothers Robert (Barbara) Rogers and Rodney (Susan) Rogers; her children, Michael (Charlotte) Margolis, Michelle (Shawn) Murphy and David Margolis; her six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family suggests that donations may be made in Benita’s honor to Wolf Haven International, Tenino, Washington and/or Healing Hearts Ranch in Olympia, Washington, where she was proud to have volunteered.
