Brian McCormick was unexpectedly called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 16, 2014. A lifelong resident of Tumwater, Washington, he passed peacefully of natural causes at home. Brian graduated from Tumwater High School in 1976 and had been employed by Safeway in the late 70s as both a box boy, and then night stocker. Brian was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved motorcycles and cars. Brian is survived by his loving, devoted mother, Carol (Meyer) McCormick, and her companion, Burt Backman; sister, Cheryl Christensen, and her husband, Scott; brother, Jeff McCormick; and father, John McCormick, and his wife, Ruthann; nieces, Lynn and Lauren; and great nephew, Christian. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.NAMI.org). Please leave memories of Brian or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
