Charles Edward Newcomb

Charles Edward Newcomb, born July 7, 1955, went home to the Lord on June 3, 2016. He was born and raised in Olympia, Washington and was 100% country. He loved with his whole heart, was generous to a fault, and defined integrity. He pulled everyone in with his genuine smile, kind eyes that shined bright with humor, and his ability to make you laugh your socks off. His love for his children and grandchildren was the only thing bigger than his love for music. He picked up his first guitar at age five, started his first band by age eight, and the music never stopped. Charles is survived by his children, Velvet Matthews (Wyle), Jessica Radcliff (Joe), Cori Stauf (Nick), Adam Newcomb (Kristal), Arin Egan (Damien); stepson, Steven Parker; brothers, Dan Newcomb (Becky), Mike Newcomb (Pam), John Newcomb (Linda); sisters, Marijeanne Seymour (Doug), Marilyn Russell; 15 cherished grandchildren; and his partner, Cathy Eddy. He joins his parents, Jessie and Evelyn Newcomb; his twin boys, Chad and Charles Newcomb; and countless friends and family members gone too soon.
