Frances "Portmann" H. Dale

Frances Dale, a lifetime Tacoma resident, passed peacefully on July 15, 2015 at the age of 100. Frances Helene Portmann was born on May 26, 1915 and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1934 and then attended Knapps Business College. She worked for KOMO radio and later for Peoples Store from 1965-1984. She married Obert Dale from Montana in 1941and lived in Tacoma's northend. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Frances is preceded in death by her parents John and Barbara from Switzerland, her sisters Alice (Bentz) and Marie, her husband Obert. She leaves her children Darlene (Moore), Dennis and Robert (Cindy), grandchildren; Lisa, Jeffrey, Leanne, Emily, Sally, Michael and Jimmy, great grandchildren; Trevor, Cooper, Gabrielle, Chace, Frances and Helena, nieces; Barbara and Jackie and her lifelong friend Maxine Leppanan. The family thanks Myra for her loving and devoted care
