Lonnie Glenn Peterson

Lonnie Glenn Peterson left this world peacefully at home surrounded by love and family on June 5, 2014. He is now at peace and in the loving arms of his grandpa. He was born June 2, 1952 in Renton, Washington, to Glenn and Adellyn “Toots” (Thronson) Peterson. Lonnie loved the outdoors and country music. He could build and fix most anything. He enjoyed fishing with his son. Gardening was a passion. His favorite spot was his backyard sanctuary built and shared with his love and girlfriend, Debbie. He loved family and they loved him back. He was always fun with the kids, using animated voices and making them laugh. He was a friend to all who knew him. We will miss you Lonnie. You will forever be loved and in our hearts. Lonnie is survived by his girlfriend, Debra Hess Sampley of Olympia; his son, Lonnie Peterson Jr. of Sumner; his daughter, Stacy Kusler of Fife; his stepson, Michael Sampley of Olympia; four grandchildren, Katie, Tyler, Jayden and Riley; three brothers, Mike Peterson of Renton, Washington, Gayron Peterson of Valley City, North Dakota, and Casey Detwiler of Arlington, Washington; and two sisters, Lanae Peterson of Enumclaw, Washington, and Glenda Snodgrass of Yakima, Washington; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
