Alice was born in Jerome, Idaho on November 2, 1923 to Katherine and Rinehart Goemmer. She passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on September 2, 2013 at 89 years of age. Alice married the love of her life, Wally Quintus, on November 14, 1943 in Yakima, Washington. She and Wally farmed for many years in the Yakima Valley, near Grandview, Washington. Alice served as Washington State President of the American Legion Auxiliary in the mid 1970s. She was an active member of PEO and the Methodist Church. About 1980, they moved to Anacortes, Washington, where they enjoyed boating in the San Juan Islands, and spent many winters in Arizona.
