Joseph "JR" Richard Stevens

Joseph Richard “JR” Stevens passed away on March 18, 2015 in the early afternoon at his home in Lacey, Washington in the loving arms of his wife and family by his side. JR was born to Don and Lorraine (Millet) Stevens on September 8, 1961 in Olympia, Washington. JR worked hard as a Maintenance Mechanic for the Air National Guard at Camp Murray, Washington. Susan Herr and JR were united in love on July 12, 2014. JR loved his daughters, Christina and Alyssa, and his grandchildren more than life itself. Susan was his sunshine and the love of his life. He loved hunting with his best buddy, Ricky, too. There wasn’t anything he could not fix. JR was a man’s man, hard worker, who always had time to help a friend or family member in need. Mere words cannot begin to honor the incredible man he was and will be remembered to have been. JR is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Christina Gaidrich of Bucoda, Washington and Alyssa Piles of Rochester, Washington; mother, Lorraine Stevens; brothers, Mark Stevens (Debra) of Tacoma, Washington, Chuck Stevens of Tenino, Washington, and Toby Stevens of Tenino, Washington; sister, Cheryl Rice (Mike); and three grandchildren.
