Elsa, 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 15, 2014. Elsa was married to husband Bill for 65 years, and is survived by her son, Bill Turner (Linda); granddaughter, Carli (Jacques) Hennequin; daughter, Randi Bley; grandson, Hans (Rachel) Bley; and great-granddaughters, Grace and Elsa. Elsa graduated from Edmonds High School in 1935 and became a beautician, owning the Wagon Wheel Beauty Shop in Edmonds. She started the first horse 4-H Club in Snohomish County, the “Tumbleweeds.” After moving to the Monroe area, she and Bill enjoyed country life and neighbors, tennis vacations with friends, and traveling in the U.S. and Europe. Elsa started skiing as a teen on Mt. Rainier and was a lifetime member of Sahalie Ski Club, Snoqualmie Pass. Elsa was a wonderful woman of faith and was always elegant. She will be missed. Please leave memories of Elsa or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
