Linda Diane Land passed away on March 22, 2024 surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with her health. She was born to Dale and Arleen Nelson on March 12, 1951. On November 30, 1968, at the age of 17, she married Duane Land Sr. They remained married until his death in 2015. She and Duane had 4 children together, Cindy, Duane Jr., Eric, and Edward. She had 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Linda is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to sew and spend time with her family. Before her health deteriorated she loved to take trips, especially to the beach! She enjoyed watching all the happy endings on the Hallmark channel, and never got tired of laughing out loud to the Golden Girls. She was preceded in death by her husband, eldest son, daughter, parents, eldest brother, and younger sister. They are all now reunited in peace. A celebration of life will be held for Linda on April 21st at the Tacoma Nature Center from 12 to 2.
