Lillian Jean (Rundle) “Jeanne” Alvord Lillian Jean (Rundle) “Jeanne” Alvord passed away quietly at home on June 21, 2013 in Tumwater, Washington, at the age of 92. She was born on March 23, 1921 to Fred and Gladys (Kitto) Rundle in Hancock, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Rundle; and sisters, Ruth Carter and Louella Holovar. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Matzen of Tumwater, Judi Lucas of Lyons, Oregon; and a son, Brice Alvord of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Known as “GG” to her 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, she was well-loved and will be sorely missed. Jeanne was an accomplished artist in several mediums, including oils, watercolors, and rosemaling. In addition to painting, she was also a seamstress and fabric artist, delighting in designing and making purses and scarves. She attended St James Anglican Church in Olympia, Washington.
