Erin Ames

No Visitation Erin Marie Ames, 31, died on August 22, 2008 in Olympia, WA. After battling severe mental health issues for 6 years, Erin had no more to give. With her passing the world has lost a wonderful and loving young woman.Erin was born in Olympia on May 19, 1977 and attended Olympia schools and graduated from Olympia High School in 1995. She enjoyed sports and the friendships she made. She received an AA in Computer Science from Bend Community College and had many Microsoft Certifications. She enjoyed hiking, biking, singing, camping and community service. Erin was quick witted with a quirky sense of humor, and had a beautiful, loud, infectious laugh we will always remember. Her family was always close to her and in her heart. She spent many days helping her grandma and grandpa on the Christmas tree farm. She loved her time there very much. She was a kind and gentle spirited woman, with an open and giving heart. She is loved and will be missed by all. Erin is survived by her mother, Pamela G. Crowell, Olympia, WA; her father William P. Ames, Kirkland, WA; her sister, Nicoli M. Ames, Oakland, CA; grandparents, George and Madge Ames, Olympia, WA; 8 aunts and uncles; and 9 cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jo and Skeet Hartzog and cousin Greg Ames. May they all meet again in heaven.
