William Glenn Vance
August 5th, 1952 - December 14th, 2016
In Loving Memory of Bill Vance: Husband, Father, Grandfather, Papa, Brother and Friend… Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be Comforted. Matthew 5-4 William Glenn Vance, 64, passed away from complications due to Kidney Failure at his Eatonville residence the evening of December 14th, 2016. Bill was born in Wichita KS, on August 5th, 1952, to Jesse and Thelma Vance. The family later moved to Bellevue WA, where after finishing high school he joined the United States Air Force. After serving his 4 year tour he chose to pursue a career in his long time life’s passion. He became a Marine Mechanic and spent the last 34+ plus years living between Florida, Eatonville and Moses Lake WA. He retired fall of last year from Hilton Outboard in Tacoma, WA. In June 2014 after some unexpected medical problems, he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure. It was a short time later that Bill and his wife Linda were married at the home they shared in Eatonville. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his youngest son Joshua Austin Vance, and his older sister Cathy Jackson. Bill is survived by his wife Linda Vance, his oldest son, Christopher William Vance (Donelle) and their children, his grandchildren, Ashley Ruth Kowerduck (Kyle), Cameron “Cambam” Vance, Alexander “Zander Cage” Vance & Landon “Monster” Vance As well as his Grandson, Tracy Lee Roberts (Christina) and their two boys, his great-grandson’s (Papa). Grant Leroy Roberts & Cole Allen Roberts. Also his sister Judy Gruver (Hal), and brother Dave Vance (Suni). Along with many other close friends and family members. During his life Bill became very close to Henry Dyson and his family, whom he chose to reside next to, until he passed. As well as a couple other people, to them we would like to say a special thank you and send our love, Bills longtime friend Mary Hopkins (Ron), and to Mark Robinson. You all meant so much to him… For everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; A time to be born, a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to back down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3 1-4 You will forever be Loved and Missed by those whose lives you touched… If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. -Unknown Love your Wife
