Carol Ann Barnes Davis

Carol Ann B Davis passed away May 18,2024 at home. Carol Ann was born June 7,1944 in Newark NJ to William M Barnes and Sara C Barnes. She is survived by her husband of 52 years and 11 months C Marshall Davis Jr, her sister Janet E Sessler(Bob), her brother Ken Barnes, her brother in law F Wayne Davis(Jackie), her nephews Tim Gabosch(Toni), Ben Keller(Holly), Brett Barnes, Chris Barnes, Jason Davis, Chet Davis, Jeff Davis.  She is also survived by her great nieces Laney Gabosch, Milley Keller and her great nephews Mason Gabosch and Landry Keller. 

Carol Ann attended Winthrop College where she earned a  BA  in Spanish in 1966. She was employed by Eastern Airlines for 25 years in Charlotte and in  Atlanta; she was also employed by SunTrust Mortgage in Atlanta and Citi Financial in Charlotte.

Carol Ann would always shed tears when she saw the St. Jude request for donations.  If you choose, please make a small donation to St. Jude  Childrens Research Hospital in lieu of flowers. Carol was a longtime member of SouthPark Church at 3151 Apex Drive, Charlotte where services will be held at a later date.
