Edna Mae Minton, 89, of Rotonda West, FL died Friday, July 26, 2013 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born on June 5, 1924 in Rust, MI to Lemon and Mildred (Watkins) Cohoon; she moved to Florida from Pontiac, MI in 1973. Edna was a former manager of Gulf to Bay MHP on Manasota Key and worked at the Island Fish House on Manasota Key. She is survived by her two sons: Robert (Gwen) Minton of Englewood and Russell (Valerie) Minton of Rotonda West; a sister: Ardith Bennett of Howell, MI; a sister-in-law: Leota Cohoon of Monroe, MI; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hazel, daughter Mary and brothers Ellwood and Vergal Cohoon. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
