Terry Dean Brenneman
December 4th, 1946 - September 15th, 2013
TERRY DEAN BRENNEMAN, 66, of Englewood passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 unexpectedly at home. He was born on December 4, 1946 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Theron and Mildred (Noffsinger) Brenneman. Terry was a Viet Nam era veteran who served in the U.S Army. A resident of Englewood for eighteen years, coming from Portage, MI; Terry owned and operated several restaurants including McDonald's in Kalamazoo, MI and the Lickity Split Café in Englewood. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 3000 in Indiana and was a former member of the Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Club in Englewood. He was predeceased by his sister, Vicki Spicer just three months ago. Terry was an extraordinary man who loved his life and his family. His compassion, warm smile and sense of humor will be missed by his customers, the Lickity Team, his friends and family but most of all his wife and daughter. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of forty-seven years: Carol R. Brenneman of Englewood; FL; one daughter: Laura Lee Brenneman of Rotonda West, FL; two brothers: Theron (Barb) Brenneman of Elkhart, IN and Dennis (Bonnie) Brenneman of Lafayette, IN; many loved nieces and nephews, his lovable granddogs and his dog, Gracie. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Englewood United Methodist Church, 700 East Dearborn Street. Entombment with military honors will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Englewood Area Cancer Foundation, P.O.
