Richard Warren Spisak
June 18th, 1931 - June 27th, 2014
RICHARD W. SPISAK, 83, of Englewood passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014. Born on June 18, 1931 in Swissvale, PA to the late Joseph and Mary (Sidorik) Spisak, he had been a resident of Sarasota County for twenty-two years coming from Miami. Mr. Spisak served in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1986 from Pan American Airlines as a customer service agent after twenty-three years. He was a member of the Eagles Aeire 3885 and a communicant of St. Raphael Catholic Church both in Englewood. Survivors include his loving wife of fifteen years: Elizabeth Hackett Spisak of Englewood, FL; two sons: Richard W. Spisak, Jr. of Hobe Sound, FL; David A. Spisak of Raleigh, NC; one step-daughter: Annmarie Smith of Englewood, FL; two step-sons: Jeffrey Hackett of Englewood, FL; and John Hackett of Plant City, FL; eleven grand children and seven great grand children. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9:30 AM Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road. Inurnment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 AM with military honors to follow.
