Maureen Liddell, 78, of Englewood, FL died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, FL. Maureen was born in Liverpool, England on March 24, 1936 to William and Gladys (Wilcok) Liddell. Ms. Liddell has been a resident of Englewood for seven years, coming from West Chester County, NY. She was a Manager in the Telecommunications Industry for over 30 years. She volunteered at the Suncoast Humane Society prior to her illness and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her three sisters: Avis Clarke of Bebbington Wirral, England; Ann (Zdravko) of Englewood, FL; Norma (Sal) Maiolo of Mamaroneck, NY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Maureen's name to the American Heart Association2970 University Pkwy. Sarasota, FL 34243 or your local chapter.
