Charles Melice, 83 of Englewood, FL., formerly of Long Island, NY. Died Friday, January 30, 2009 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born September 2, 1925 in Bronx, NY to Charles and Josephine Melice. Charlles served in the U.S. Navy during WW-II. He retired from the Rail Road as a Supervisor. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years; Jeannette (Nizza) Melice and numerous nieces and nephews. visitation will be on Monday, January 2 from 2 - 5 PM at Englewood Community funeral Home, Inc. 3070 S. McCall Rd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Englewood. Entombment will be in Lee Memorial Park in Ft. Myers, FL at 2:30 PM.
