Paul Ronald Knight, 78, of Port Charlotte, FL., formerly of Ennis, Missouri died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born on August 9, 1930, in Valley Stream, NY. Paul was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife of 56 years; Mary: three sons; Robert of Poplar Bluffs, MO., John of Ft. Myers, Paul, Jr., one daughter; Susan Krueger of Hawaii, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church 14200 Hopewell Ave. Port Charlotte at 12:30 PM with a committal service with honors at Sarasota National Cemetery to follow.
