Nancy Lee Snyder

Nancy Lee (Wing) Snyder, 67, of Cape Haze, Florida passed away peacefully Monday, December 28, 2009 with her husband and brother at her side at the Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born December 14, 1942 in Painesville, Ohio to Wilbur and Florence Wing. She graduated from Mentor High School in 1960 and attended Cooper School of Art in Cleveland. She resided in Ohio, Alabama, California and retired to Cape Haze, Florida in 1997 with her loving husband of 47 years. She was a member of the Cape Haze Women's Club and very active in the Cape Haze community. She is survived by her husband: William A. Snyder; her son: William A. Snyder Jr. of Franklin, KY; her daughter: Heather Ann Perry of Reno, NV; her brother: Bill Wing of Debary, FL and three grandchildren. Nancy was an artist and an interior decorator that could turn the ordinary into unique and interesting art. Her eclectic style was all her own and will be missed by all who loved her. She was also a sailor with a skillful hand on the helm. A celebration of Nancy's life will be scheduled at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Hospice staff of Englewood and Port Charlotte for all their excellent care and kindness during this difficult time.
