March 20th, 1939 - January 13th, 2011
Ruth A. Gagne, 71 of Englewood passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte. She was born on March 20, 1939 in Plymouth, MA to Charles and Doris (Proctor) Craig. Mrs. Gagne moved to Florida in 2009 from Florence, MA. Before retiring due to illness Ruth was a house keeper for 20 years at Cooley Dickenson Hospital in Northampton, MA. She is survived by her husband of 42 years; Albert: four children; Debra (Garth) Pretti, Teresa Novotny, Robert (Bobby Jo) Gagne and Chad (Christine) Gagne: three brothers; Stephen (Brenda) Craig, Charles (Roxie) Craig Jr. and Kenneth (Nancy) Craig: seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her beloved Greyhound Nova. Ruth was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was loved by all and would help anyone. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Tidewell Hospice House 1144 Veronica St. Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
