Ada Caroline Clark, 87, of Englewood died on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Born on July 2, 1923 in Newark, New Jersey she had been a resident of Englewood for 30 years coming from Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Mrs. Clark was a loving wife, mother and home maker. She was the Past President of the Berkshire Museum Garden Club; active with the Cub Scouts of America and a Den Mother for many years in Pittsfield, MA. Survivors include her daughter; Janet (David) Messer of Port Charlotte, FL., son; Harold (Janice) Clark, Jr. of Pittsfield, MA: brother Carl Velte, Jr. of Lake Worth, FL and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold in July 2000. A Memorial Service will be held locally at a later date and in Pittsfield, MA with burial in the Pittsfield Cemetery at a later date. Mrs. Clark's family would appreciate memorial contributions may be made in her name to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238 or to the charity of your choice.
