Donald H. Raker

DONALD H. RAKER, 77, of Englewood passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in St. Petersburg. Born on December 15, 1933 in Rochester, New York he had been a resident of Charlotte County for thirty-three years coming from Fairhaven, NY. Mr. Raker was best known for his home improvement and repair business. In Englewood he could be found at Coney Island and the Country Hound Café drinking coffee with his friends. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-three years: Martha V. Raker of Englewood, FL; one daughter: Tami S. (Blake) Yusk of Englewood, FL; one son: Bryon D. (Shannon) Raker of Odessa, FL; two grandchildren: Nolan J. and Samatha K. Yusk and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 10 Am until service time at 11 Am at Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 So. McCall Road.
