Alan H. Marsh

Alan Harmon Marsh, 83, of Rotonda West, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. Born on November 1, 1934 in New Milford, Connecticut to the late Ira and Mildred Couch Marsh, he served in the U.S. Navy. Alan worked for Kimberly-Clark in New Milford for nearly thirty-two years prior to his retirement in 1991 as a lead supervisor in paper products. He moved to Florida in 1992. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Rotonda Golf Club. He is predeceased by a step-daughter: Shari Sluzienski. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-two years: Gloria Marsh of Rotonda West, Florida; two daughters: Cheryl Marsh of Hastings, Florida; Linda Aldridge of St. Petersburg, Florida; two sons: Alan T. (Tammy) Marsh of Port Charlotte, Florida; William P. Marsh of Newton Connecticut; step-daughter: Paula Matthews of Hendersonville, North Carolina; six grand children and five great grandchildren.
