March 25th, 1925 - March 5th, 2014
James C. "Mutt" Morrison, 88, of Fall Branch passed away 8:40 am Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of Tennessee Eastman. Preceded in death by wife, Kathleen Morrison; grandson, Travis Scott Lawson. Survivors: Daughters; Connie Lawson, Debbie Richards and husband, Tim; Sons; Dwight Morrison, Stanley Morrison, all of Fall Branch; Five grandchildren; Shelly Lawson, Deena Taylor and husband, Greg; Josh Morrison and fiancee', Liz; Lindsey Richards, Landon Richards and fiancee', Amber; Great-grandchildren; Jessica, Bobby, Lena, Rayne and Kate Taylor, Kaitlyn Rosenbaum. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends, Jim and Lynell Taylor and also "The Girls" at Fall Branch Family Pharmacy. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Saturday, Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga, Kingsport. Graveside service and interment 2 pm Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Bernard officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Morrison family.
