February 15th, 1952 - August 19th, 2013
Kingsport - Lester H. Haynes, 61, passed away Monday August 19, 2013 after an extended illness surrounded by loved ones. Lester was born in Kingsport, TN on February 15, 1952 and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Bloomingdale Road. Lester was preceded in death by his father L. C. Osborne; brother in law, Gary Campbell and his biological parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Debbie Haynes of the home, daughters, Rochelle Haynes, Valerie Haynes and fiance', John all of Kingsport, Stephanie Reed and husband, Micky from Valparaiso, IN; sons, Mark Haynes and wife Sherry, Kevin Haynes and wife Shelley, Lester Haynes Jr. "Spanky" all of Kingsport; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; mother, Mildred Osborne; sisters, Judy Campbell, Joy Adinolfi and husband Tony all of Kingsport; brothers, J.W. Haynes of Kingsport, Rick Osborne "Ozzie" and wife Michelle of Mt. Juliet, TN; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends any time after 12 noon Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in the Conference Room at The Church of Jesus Christ, 3300 Bloomingdale Rd., Kingsport, TN. Feel free to bring a covered dish to share a meal with Lester's family. A formal visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm at the church with Bishop Tony Adinolfi, Evangelist Larry McAmis and Elder Deon Turner officiating. Music will be provided by his niece, Melody Adinolfi; son in law Micky Reed and Jeff Pierson. An entombment service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2013 at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Micky Reed, John Sawyer, Tim Bledsoe, Brad Osborne, Gunner Osborne and Donnie Ward. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ellis Marshall, Jerry Marshall, Bobby Marshall, Clarence Marshall and Bishop Tony Adinolfi. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12 noon to go in procession. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ, 3300 Bloomingdale Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Haynes family.
