Michael Lloyd Hahn

On July 21, 2021, Michael "Mick" Hahn gracefully passed to protect us from above. Mick was originally born in Waterloo, IA but for the past 40 years has been a business owner, philanthropist, and active member of the Englewood Community. He will be remembered for his beloved store, Parcel Express, that he ran with his wife Barb. Mick loved golf and was the founding member of the Ball Drop Tournament that continues to raise money for local charities. He loved being on the radio on Friday mornings and anyone who listened definitely remembers his infectious laugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 wonderful years. Many will remember them always being together. They were truly devoted to each other and emulated the power and sanctity of marriage. Mick was a loving father and grandfather; he is survived by his children Michael Stevens of Venice. FL, Stephenie Vantassell of Rotonda West, FL, Jennifer Ragazzone of Cape Haze, FL and John Hahn of Winter Park, FL. He was blessed with eight amazing grandchildren, Tanner, Travis, Cyanna, Madison, Lauren, Isabelle, Cole and Grayson. His spirit, love of life and legacy will shine brightly through his granchildrens smiles and laughter. The family takes profound solace in the in the joy that is presence and unwavering love are always with them. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at the American Legion Post 113 of Rotonda West from 2:00 to 6:00 on Saturday July 24, 2021. The family is asking, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Tidewell Hospice House of Englewood.
