Patricia Anne Kautz

Patricia A. Kautz, 90, of Englewood FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Englewood Health and Rehab after a brief period of failing health. Born on December 16, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to the late William A. and Hilda M. (Moscovitch) Breen, Pat was a graduate of Catherine McAuley High School. She later moved to Wayne, NJ with her family, where she met and married Harold O. Kautz. Pat had an accounting career for a bank during her earlier years. After raising her family, she began an active and exciting career working in the travel industry becoming the manager of a travel agency. She traveled to many beautiful locations all over the world and loved learning the various cultures and meeting new people. Pat was a very active member of both The Pines Lake Garden Club of Wayne NJ and Lemon Bay Garden Club of Englewood FL after moving to Florida in 2001. She served as President for both garden clubs and became a Master Judge in NJ and FL. She held several responsible positions in the Garden Club of New Jersey and with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. She was an award-winning floral designer and was a member of the Floralia Group of Sarasota. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Harold, daughter Lisa Ryan, and sister Kathleen Breen. She is survived by daughters: Susan Burke and Nancy Flynn; brothers: William Breen and Charles Breen; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at a later date. Englewood Community Funeral Home with Private Crematory has been selected to handle arrangements.
