Walter Henry Frey
March 8th, 1933 - January 12th, 2013
WALTER H. FREY, 79, of Englewood, Florida passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice Port Charlotte. Born on March 8, 1933 in Hackensack, New Jersey he served in the US Army. Walter graduated from Lafayette College in 1955 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was employed by Trans-continental Gas Pipeline Corporation for thirty six years and retired as supervisor of gas control; he served on several committees for the US Department of Energy. He became a resident Charlotte County ten years ago coming from Allenwood, NJ and was a member of the Lake Venice Golf Club. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-six years: Camille (Cordone) Frey of Englewood, FL; two sons: Gary (Laura) Frey of Herdnon, VA; David (Carole) Frey of Howell, NJ; one brother: Raymond (Caroline) Frey of St. Johnsbury, VT; and four grand children: John, Daniel, Emma and Hana Frey. Services will be private.
