Denise “DC” Camille Meier Born July 23, 1957, passed away surrounded by loving family on March 12, 2015. Denise, born in Puyallup, Washington to Raymond and Betty Meier was number three of four children. A lifelong resident of Puyallup, she was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and taught many children and young women through the years. At the time of her death Denise was employed by Cost Less Pharmacy in Tacoma. DC is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Betty. Survived by Sandra (Chuck) Carlson, Ramona (Rulon) Horsley, Edward (Bonnie) Meier. Though DC never had children of her own, she mothered many children including her 8 nieces and nephews; Brenda (Dan) Bowie, David Jenkins, Betsy Jenkins, Rulon (Mari) Horsley, Nick (Jaime Clark) Horsley, Chelsey (Jake) Casement, John Meier and KaLene Meier. Her love for her 12 great-nieces and nephews was felt by all. She graced the lives of many with her love and kindness. A viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 17 followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12407 Military Rd. E. Puyallup.
