Madeline Gay Morrison

After living a full and wonderful life, Gay Morrison, of Englewood, FL passed away on 5/9/2024. Born June 20, 1931 in Clendenin, WV, Gay graduated Clendenin High School Class of 1950 and was employed as a Telephone Switchboard Operator in Charleston, WV, Retired as a CNA in 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen C Morrison Sr., parents, Oscar V and Nona Samples, brother, Arthur Samples, sisters, Madge Clemmer,Garnett Cobb, Faye Pendola, Doris Sears, and Hope Carte, and son Glen C Morrison Jr. Survivors include daughters Deborah Storts (Dave) of North Port, FL, Melissa Prescott (Pete) of Heathsville, VA, Kyla Nelson (Gary) of Ft. Myers, FL, Kelly Cline (Keith) of Rotonda West, FL and Sara Morrison of Benton, KY. Grandchildren Matthew Crank, Savannah Rummell (Brian), Nerissa Sherrill (Robbie), Nicolas Prescott, Taylor Nelson (Brenna), Brandi Works (Robert), and Nicholas Cline. Great Grandchildren Evie Crank, Madeline and Lyla Sherrill, Adam and Jason Rummell and Sam Works, A Graveside Memorial will be at Taylor Family Cemetery, Thorofare Rd, Clendenin. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Gay’s honor to Taylor Cemetery Thorofare Road c/o Randy and Anna Taylor, 58 Kodiak Drive, Clendenin, WV 25045.
