Mackenzie Rae Martin
November 7th, 1997 - September 11th, 2016
Mackenzie "Kenzie" Rae Martin was born November 7, 1997 to her loving parents, Brian Martin and Deanna Shoemaker. She is survived by her parents, her brothers and sisters (Preston, Riley, Shebri and Tara), 8 nieces and nephews and many other family members who will miss her dearly. Kenzie proudly graduated from Sumner High School, with the class of 2016, where she was a member of choir all four years, including the BellaVoce choir. She had big plans for her life. She started a new job, planned to attend college to be a nurse and was just starting to enjoy the graduated adult life. We will all remember her love for music and singing along with just about every song, photography, cooking, baking, going on adventures and spending time with her beloved friends and family. Who could forget her obsession with pandas, wiener dogs, Grey's anatomy, scary movies and of course her ever changing favorite flavors of Redbull. Just before sunset on September 11, 2016, she was in a horrific car accident and tragically taken from us. Not one day will pass that her family and friends don’t wish that she was here to grace us with her beautiful smile and captivating personality. Heaven is graced with her presence now, as we wait for the day to be reunited with her once again in the Kingdom of our Savior. Sing now with the Angels, Kenzie. "He will wipe away every tear from their eye, and death shall be no more, neither shall be mourning, nor crying, no pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." -Revelation 21:4 A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 2-6 p.m. at Curnow Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Mt. View Cemetery, Auburn.
