Tim McCoy

Tim passed away on Oct 22nd in a tragic dirtbike accident near his home. A Bonney Lake firefighter for 30 years, he was a hero to many. As a husband and father he was a courageous and gentle knight. As a foster dad, he was a shining example of Jesus' love and sacrifice. As a friend, he was a gifted encourager. He treasured time with his brothers, and felt it his duty to keep his family laughing as he wooed and wowed his wife and kids with an unabandoned love. He strove for excellence in all things but would be the first to say his greatest victory is in Jesus. He is survived by his mother Frances, wife Anna (Koehler) McCoy, kids Joshua (Charis), Emily and Alise, siblings Steve, Kevin and Diane, and a host of others who knew him as uncle, mentor and friend. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at 11am on Nov 12th at Lighthouse Christian Center in Puyallup, lighthousehome.org. Reception to follow.
