Terry Lee Owens

Terry Lee Owens, age 60, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport. She was a member of Oak Glen Baptist Church in Yuma, VA. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and had spent most of her life loving all children. She and her husband Clarence had given most of their adult lives to fostering children in the local area. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lee Owens; granddaughter, LeeAnne Christine Owens; mother, Irene Elizabeth Chase; father, Richard Lee Allred; brother, Wally Lee Allred; and sister, Bonnie Lee Allred. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Clarence Owens; children, Gregory Stephen Owens, Lisa Alley, Elizabeth Kimbrough, Cassie Owens, Melissa Owens, Justin Owens and Rebekah Owens; grandchildren, Collin Alley, Haley Reynolds, Chantell Owens and Terell Owens; sisters, Wanda Robertson, Kimberly Chase, Sandra Dietschweiler and Hatti Zieroth; several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Oak Glen Baptist Church in Yuma, VA. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Danny Sykes officiating.
