Patrick “Pat” Thomas Tracy, 69, of North Port, FL and formerly of Bolton, CT passed away on May 18, 2023. He was born on October 19, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to his parents Joseph Tracy and Margaret Bayer. He was an electrical engineer and a electronics technician for 25 years and he retired in from Coherent Inc. in Bloomfield, CT in 2022. Pat held several patents for his work in electronics and laser field, was active in scouting in his younger years. Patrick was an avid Ham Radio enthusiast for his entire life (KE1C), a hobby that was learned and passed down from his father Joe (K1LSP), and was a founding member of the Bolton Amateur Radio Federation. He also loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Sally Tracy; son, Kevin (Emily) Tracy and their children Marlowe and Flynn; son, Michael (Deena) Deranleau and their children Kaitlyn and Laken; son Stephen Deranleau and his child Aidan; sister, Kathy (Tim) Sutherland; and sister-in-law, Jane Rodgers. Pat was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Barbara and John Rodgers; and brother-in-law, Stead Rodgers. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
