Karl Erick Gustav Anderson, Sr.

Karl Erick Gustav Anderson Sr., 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on June 7th, 2023. Karl was born on October 7th, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland. Karl came from Pasadena, Maryland, and worked as a Master Electrician and owned his own business, A & D Electrical Construction for 30 years and retired in 2006. While owning and operating A & D Electrical Construction and was a Master Electrician and General Contractor and his jobs included, Baltimore Subway, World Trade Center, Lightening Key Bridge, CP Telephone, Seagirt Marine Terminal. He was an avid offshore fisherman, winning the White Marlin Open in Ocean City, Maryland, with his 48’ Ocean and mate, Sherry Anderson. Karl is survived by his sons, Karl E. G. Anderson Jr. (Gabriella Anderson) and David M. Anderson Sr. (Linda J. Anderson); daughter, Barbara Ann Anderson; grandchildren, David M. Anderson Jr., Karl Anderson III (Gina), Kristine Anderson, Sherry L. Knott (Joe), Amanda Sizemore (Matt), Robert Lewis Jr., Jacob Anderson, Jestine Lewis; great grandchildren, Jonathan Anderson, Sara Corona, Abigail Knott, Lilliana Knott, Anna Sizemore, Adam Sizemore, Faith Lewis, Kimberly Riley, Kira Riley. A visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 5900 South Biscayne Drive, North Port, on Monday, June 19th, 2023, at 12:00PM, with funeral service beginning at 1:00PM. Following the funeral service, interment will be held at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Road, Venice. Funeral arrangements are handled by Farley Funeral Homes & Crematory.
