Michael “Jed” Jedlicka, 69, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Enosburg Falls, Vermont and Port Washington, New York, passed away peacefully at home on January 23rd, 2024. He was born in Mineola, New York, on February 13th, 1954, to his parents, Edward and Rita Rose Jedlicka. Jed was a talented carpenter and also owned and operated Anchor Construction for over 25 years, retired for 7 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rita Rose Jedlicka and his sister, Susan Jedlicka. Jed is survived by his loving wife, Jayne; children, Michael (Sarah) Jedlicka of Texas, Todd (Emma) Bangert of South Carolina, Wendy (Ken) Duffy of Florida, grandchildren Kay and Christopher of Florida; grandchildren, Liam and Luke of Texas, Samuel and Owen of South Carolina; brother, Russell (Christine) James of Florida, sister, Deborah (Bruce) Morgan of Florida, nephew, James Jedlicka of South Carolina, great nephew, Raymond Jedlicka of South Carolina. The family requests for memorial contributions to be sent to American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, North Port, Florida.
