Michael A. Rooney III Dec. 26, 1945-Oct. 25, 2009. A business owner and entrepreneur, Mike was the Co-Founder and President of Redmond-Based software company Computers Northwest in addition to other businesses. A real estate developer and investor, he received a Community Improvement award from the Greenwood-Phinney Ridge community for renovations to a "main street" apartment building. He was a US Navy Corpsman attached to the Marine Corps in Vietnam during the start of the Tet Offensive of 1968. As a Redmond Little League System Manager and Coach he and his sons built their "Field of Dreams" for team practices; and he led his teams to 3 City Championships. Mike is survived by his wife Pam of 40 years; sons Michael and James; daughter-in-law/"daughter" Heather; soon to be daughter-in-law Indi Jones; granddaughter Caitlyn; sisters Rune Hartman and Patricia Jorgensen; and cousins Lynne Honsowetz, Tina Honsowetz and Jack Honsowetz. We love you and hold you forever in our hearts. Memorial Service at Mt. Si Lutheran, North Bend, Friday 11/13 at 12:30 p.m.; Private internment at Tahoma National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to The Compass Center; Group Health Hospice or charity of your choice.
