Barbara L. Koch of Bradenton, 76, peacefully passed away Tue., June 25, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 54 years; John R. Koch, son; John Robert Koch and wife Susan, daughter; Kimberly Joy Koch-Wildgrube and husband Bruce, sister; Judy Bish, grandchildren; Autumn Wildgrube, Morgan Koch, Justin Koch. Barbara received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Nyack College and received her Master’s degree from SUNY Oneonta. She continued her work as a public school teacher for 30 years. Visitation will be held Sat., June 29 from 10-11 a.m.. Service will follow visitation at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Berkley Helms. Both visitation and service will be held at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home. Burial to take place at Monticello Memory Gardens, Charlottesville, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. and the Bernice Powell Scholarship Fund c/o Nyack College, Nyack, NY. www.GriffithCline.com
