Rosie Uffinger Barrow
September 8th, 1934 - January 26th, 2014
Rosie Thomas Uffinger Barrow went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2014. Rosie was born on September 8, 1934, in Leesburg, VA. She and her husband moved to Bradenton, FL in 1998 and are members of First Baptist Church, Bradenton. She loved the Lord and her family. She was the most selfless and loving mother, grandmother, and wife anyone could ever ask for. And, she will always be remembered by her beautiful smile. Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Earl F. Thomas and Lillian Martz Thomas Crosier, sisters; Gertrude (Trudy) T. Anderson, and Claudia G. Pearson, brothers; Harry F. Thomas and Carl W. Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Weyman M. Barrow, children; Deb A. Wilson, Donald L. Uffinger, Jr., and Marilyn (Ron) Uffinger Koval, grandson, Donald L. Uffinger, III, stepsons; Mike, Mark, Mitch, and Mickey Barrow, and also preceded in death by a stepson, Max Barrow. There will be a Memorial Service Thursday, January 30, 2014, 10:00 A.M., at First Baptist Church, Bradenton, 1306 Manatee Ave. W. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to one of her special Christian organizations; Billy Graham Evangelist Association, In Touch Ministries, Inc. (Dr. Charles Stanley), or The Salvation Army. A private interment will be held at a later date.
